The inauguration of GCT IEEE Student Chapter was held on October 5 , with Dr.Umashankar Subramaniam, GCT Alumnus, former Vice Chair IEEE Madras Section, as the chief guest. The event was graced by the presence of Dr.P.Thamarai. principal of GCT. Dr.V.Gopalakrishnan, HOD/EEE and EIE, and Dr. Ranjith Kumar, branch counselor of IEEE and the members of club were appointed
